Hotel Montecarlo History
The Hotel Montecarlo, Barcelona was skillfully converted in 1945 from a nineteenth-century palace into the charming 4 star Barcelona hotel on Las Ramblas which welcomes guests today. The magnificent façade and elegant interior reflects the rich past of the building. At another point in the building's history it served as the headquarters for two newspapers "Las Noticias" and "El Correo Catalán".
